Why does every plan work on the whole dog, not just my issue?

The Navigator gives you a plan for your individual issue. But on its own, that would just be symptom control. Everything here runs on The Whole Dog Approach, and every plan has to deliver all three of these:

Step 01

Good behaviour

Well trained and well behaved.

Step 02

A healthy, okay dog

No more frustration, arousal or stress underneath. The iceberg melted, not managed.

Step 03

A future-proof dog

Issues don't come back and new ones don't pop up, because you've helped the dog.

That's why your roadmap below has stages about sleep, arousal and outlets, and not just the training bit. Fix the behaviour alone and the cause underneath simply sends up another one.
