MK9Plus is a service provided by MK9 LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15787340), with its registered office at Unit 17 Rockhaven, Street, England, BA16 0HW ("MK9Plus", "we", "us", "our").

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and MK9 LTD. By creating an account, starting a free trial, buying a membership, or otherwise using MK9Plus, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The Important Stuff (Please Read)
We want joining MK9Plus to feel simple, fair, and low risk. Here's everything that matters, in plain English. This summary is an overview to help you understand how things work. The full Terms below are what legally apply, and nothing in this summary reduces your legal rights.
The Bare Hands Guarantee
We offer a satisfaction guarantee called the Bare Hands Guarantee.
If, after spending a reasonable amount of time on the platform, you decide MK9Plus isn't for you, you can request a full refund of what you paid within the guarantee period shown when you joined. No pressure, no awkward conversations, even if you've already watched content.
The length of the guarantee depends on the membership option you choose (for example, 30, 90, or 180 days). The exact period is always clearly shown on the sign up page before you pay.
The idea is simple: if you wouldn't stay as a member willingly, you don't have to pay.
Accidental Renewals
Subscriptions (for example our monthly, six monthly, and annual plans) renew automatically so your access doesn't get interrupted. If a subscription renews when you didn't mean to continue, you can ask us for a refund of that renewal payment. This applies as long as you haven't watched or otherwise accessed member content since the renewal date. Just email team@mk9plus.com as soon as you notice. This is on top of the Bare Hands Guarantee and your legal rights.
Free Trial
Some memberships include a 7 day free trial.
Cancel during the trial and you won't be charged.
If you don't cancel, the membership continues automatically as a paid subscription at the price shown when you signed up.
Trial availability and pricing are always shown clearly before you join.
Cancel Anytime
All subscription memberships can be cancelled at any time.
No contracts.
No cancellation fees.
No awkward hoops.
When you cancel, you'll keep access until the end of your current paid period, and future payments stop.
Pause Your Membership (Up to 3 Months)
If life gets busy, you can pause an active subscription for up to 3 months.
Billing is paused.
Access is temporarily frozen.
Your membership resumes automatically after the pause.
This option is available for subscription memberships (not lifetime access).
Lifetime Memberships
Lifetime membership gives you access to MK9Plus for as long as the platform continues to operate.
No recurring payments.
Access to all content currently assigned to your membership.
Access to future uploads included for lifetime members.
Lifetime memberships are not subscriptions, so cancelling and pausing don't apply. They may still be covered by a Bare Hands Guarantee period if that is stated at the time of purchase.
A Note on Fair Use
All guarantees, trials, cancellations, and pause options are offered in good faith. We trust our members and ask the same in return. Where we mention that a refund or option depends on content not being watched, this is to keep these offers fair for everyone, it does not affect your legal rights (see Section 10).
1. Who We Are and What These Terms Cover
These Terms apply to everyone who accesses MK9Plus through our website (https://mk9plus.com), any related domains and subdomains, and our associated mobile and TV applications (together, the "Services").
Our website and apps are hosted on a third party membership platform (Uscreen), payments are handled by third party payment providers, and some content is delivered through third party streaming technology. Their availability can affect the Services from time to time.

2. What MK9Plus Is
MK9Plus is an online membership platform providing educational content and guidance for dog owners. It is designed to help members better understand their dogs, make informed decisions, and improve day to day life with their dog through knowledge based, ethical, and non aversive approaches.
The platform gives you access to a growing library of digital content, which may include video lessons, recorded webinars, written materials, downloadable resources, live or recorded group sessions, community discussion areas, and the ability to submit questions to us by email. Content covers topics such as dog behaviour, training, enrichment, health awareness, lifestyle, and owner education.
Live sessions, community features, and email support are provided on a reasonable endeavours basis and may change over time. We may update, add to, amend, or remove content and features to improve the service, reflect new information, or maintain quality. We will not do this in a way that materially reduces access you have already paid for, except where required for legal, safety, or operational reasons.
MK9Plus is an educational service. The content is not a substitute for professional veterinary, medical, or behavioural diagnosis or treatment, and we make no guarantee of any specific behavioural or training outcome. Every dog, owner, and environment is different, and results depend on how the information is understood and applied. See Section 3 for important safety information.
3. Important Safety and Educational Notice
You are responsible for your own dog and for how you apply anything you learn on MK9Plus. In particular:
If your dog is unwell, injured, in pain, or behaving in a way that could be dangerous to people or other animals, seek help from a qualified veterinary professional and, where appropriate, a suitably qualified behaviourist. MK9Plus does not replace that professional support.
You are responsible for keeping yourself, your dog, other people, and other animals safe when practising anything shown in our content.
You apply our guidance at your own risk and using your own judgement about what is appropriate for your dog and situation.
This Section does not limit our liability for anything that cannot be limited by law (see Section 10).
4. Eligibility and Your Account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, buy a membership, or otherwise contract with us, because membership involves payment and entering a binding agreement.
To register, you'll be asked to provide certain information, including a valid email address. You agree that the information you give us is accurate and kept up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. If you share a device, always log out so others can't access your content. Tell us straight away at team@mk9plus.com if you think your account has been used without your permission.
Your membership is personal to you. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account or login details, and you may not give multiple people access to member content through a single account.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these Terms. Where we do, we'll act proportionately and, unless the law or a safety issue prevents it, we'll let you know why.
5. Memberships, Trials, and Pricing
We currently offer:
Rolling monthly subscriptions
six monthly subscriptions
Annual subscriptions
Lifetime access (a one off purchase, not a subscription)
The plans available, their prices, billing frequency, any free trial period, and the applicable Bare Hands Guarantee period are shown on the sign up page at the time you buy. The price you see at sign up is the price you pay for that period.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then current price for your plan, unless you cancel or pause first, or we end the plan. We'll always tell you the price before you commit, and we'll give you reasonable notice by email of any change to the price of an ongoing subscription before it takes effect, so you can cancel if you don't want to continue.
We may add, change, or stop offering particular plans over time. This won't affect the plan you've already bought for the period you've paid for.
6. Payments and Billing
By buying a plan, you authorise us (and our payment provider) to charge your chosen payment method for the plan you selected, including any renewals, until you cancel or the plan ends. You agree to keep valid payment details on file for as long as you hold a subscription.
We send a receipt to your registered email address once a payment is successful. You can view and update your payment details and plan by logging in and going to your account settings.
If a payment fails, we may retry it or suspend access until payment is made. Any taxes that apply will be shown or added as required by law.
7. Cancelling, Pausing, and Refunds
Cancelling. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings, with no cancellation fee. You'll keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again after that. Cancelling stops future payments but does not, by itself, refund payments already made (your Bare Hands Guarantee and legal rights still apply, see below and Section 10).
Pausing. You can pause an active subscription for up to 3 months. While paused, billing and access are paused, and your membership resumes automatically at the end of the pause. Pausing is available for subscriptions only, not lifetime access.
Bare Hands Guarantee. Within the guarantee period shown when you joined, you can request a full refund of what you paid, even if you've watched content, by emailing team@mk9plus.com. We'll process eligible refunds to your original payment method.
Accidental renewals. If a subscription renews automatically when you didn't intend to continue, you can ask us to refund that renewal payment, provided you haven't watched or otherwise accessed member content since the renewal date. Contact us as soon as you notice.
Lifetime access. Lifetime purchases are covered by any Bare Hands Guarantee period stated at the time of purchase. Outside that period, lifetime purchases are generally non refundable, except where you have a legal right to a refund (see Section 10).
None of the above limits your statutory rights as a consumer, which are explained in Section 10 and always apply.
8. How You May Use the Services
We grant you a limited, personal, non exclusive, non transferable, non commercial licence to access and view MK9Plus content while your membership is active, for your own use in caring for and training your own dog(s).
You must not:
copy, download (except where a download feature is expressly provided), record, reproduce, republish, share, sell, rent, sublicence, distribute, or publicly display any MK9Plus content, in whole or in part;
share your account or give others access to member content;
use the content to provide, promote, or support your own commercial training or advisory services;
remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices; or
use the Services in any unlawful way or in breach of these Terms.
You also agree not to misuse the Services technically, for example by trying to gain unauthorised access to systems or other users' accounts, probing or testing security, introducing malicious code, scraping or harvesting data, or interfering with the normal operation of the Services. Serious misuse may be unlawful, and we may report it to the relevant authorities.
9. Community and User Content
If you post in our community areas, submit questions, or otherwise share content ("Your Content"), you remain responsible for it and confirm you have the right to share it.
You agree to keep community spaces respectful and lawful. In particular, don't post content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, defamatory, obscene, misleading, infringes someone else's rights, promotes cruelty or harm to animals, or shares another person's private information without permission. Don't use the community to advertise or promote competing services without our permission.
You keep ownership of Your Content. By posting it, you give us a non exclusive, royalty free licence to host, display, and share it within the Services so we can operate the community and support features. You can ask us to remove Your Content at any time. We may remove content or restrict access where it breaches these Terms or the law, or to protect members, staff, or the community.
We don't routinely monitor everything posted and aren't responsible for content posted by other members. If you see something that breaches these Terms, tell us at team@mk9plus.com.
10. Your Consumer Rights (Important)
You have legal rights as a consumer that these Terms do not take away or reduce. Nothing in these Terms affects them.
Digital content quality (Consumer Rights Act 2015). The digital content we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for its purpose, and as described. If it isn't, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund under the Act.
14 day cancellation right (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). Normally you have 14 days from purchase to cancel a contract bought online and get a refund. Because MK9Plus gives you access to digital content straight away, when you start your trial or membership you ask us to begin providing the content immediately and you acknowledge that, once you start accessing it, you may lose this automatic 14 day cancellation right for content already supplied. In practice, our Bare Hands Guarantee gives you a longer and more generous right to a refund than the law requires, so you're better protected, not worse.
Things we can never exclude. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of England and Wales.
If something goes wrong, contact us first at team@mk9plus.com and we'll always try to put it right. You can also get free advice from Citizens Advice.
11. Our Responsibility to You
We provide the Services with reasonable care and skill. However, because MK9Plus is an educational service, we don't promise any particular training or behavioural result, and we don't guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, or error free, for example, streaming quality can depend on your device, connection, and location, which are outside our control.
Subject to Section 10 (which always applies), we are not responsible for losses that are not a foreseeable result of our breach, or for losses arising from how you choose to apply the guidance to your own dog and circumstances. To the extent permitted by law, and except for the liabilities described in Section 10 that cannot be limited, our total liability to you arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third party websites or services we link to (such as Tribal Pet Food) or third party platforms used to deliver the Services.
12. Intellectual Property
"MK9Plus", our logo, and our brand names are trademarks and property of MK9 LTD, and may not be used without our permission.
All content within the Services, including videos, written materials, downloads, graphics, and the design and layout of the platform, is owned by or licensed to MK9 LTD and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited personal licence in Section 8, you may not use, copy, or reuse it for any purpose.
13. Copyright Complaints
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on MK9Plus infringes your copyright, email team@mk9plus.com with: your name and contact details; a description of the work you say has been infringed; the location (URL) of the material on the Services; and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the rights holder or the law, and that the information you've given is accurate. We'll review and act appropriately, which may include removing the material.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Services, our plans, or the law. If we make a change that materially affects your rights, we'll give you reasonable notice (for example by email or a notice on the site) before it takes effect. If you don't agree to a change, you can cancel your membership before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. We'll always show the "Last updated" date at the top.
15. Communications
By using the Services you agree that we can contact you electronically about your account, payments, access, and other service and transactional matters. These are necessary and you can't opt out of them while you hold an account. We'll only send you marketing messages in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law, and you can opt out of marketing at any time.
16. General
Governing law. These Terms and any dispute relating to them are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Jurisdiction. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your local courts as the law allows.
Transferring the agreement. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours (for example if our business is sold), but only in a way that doesn't reduce your rights under these Terms.
If part of these Terms can't be enforced. If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will continue to apply.
No waiver. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
Other people's rights. These Terms are between you and us. No one else has rights to enforce them, except that this doesn't affect any statutory rights of a consumer.
The whole agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and the plan details shown at sign up, are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the Services.
