Depending on how you use MK9Plus, we may collect:
Identity and contact details — your name, email address, and (if you provide them) phone number, billing address, and country.
Account information — your username, an encrypted password, membership plan, settings, and preferences.
Payment information — your payment is processed by our payment providers (Stripe and PayPal). We do not store your full card details; we receive limited information such as confirmation of payment and the last few digits of your card.
Usage of the Services — content you watch, your watch history, favourites, playlists, notes, and progress.
Community and support content — posts, questions, messages, and anything else you submit in community areas or send to us.
Technical and analytics data — IP address, device and browser type, operating system, approximate location, referring/exit pages, time and date stamps, and information collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Communications — emails and messages between you and us.
You don't have to give us your personal data, but if you don't provide what's needed to run your account and process payment, you won't be able to use the Services.

Uscreen — the platform that hosts our website, apps, member accounts, and email/drip communications.
Mux — video hosting and streaming delivery.
Stripe and PayPal — payment processing.
Google (Google Analytics) and Meta (Facebook Pixel) — analytics and advertising, subject to your cookie consent.
These providers act as our processors (or, for some purposes, their own controllers) and are only permitted to use your data in line with our instructions and the law. We may also share data if required by law, to enforce our Terms, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a sale or reorganisation of our business (in which case your data stays protected under this Policy).
Some of our providers (including Uscreen, Mux, Stripe, Meta, and Google) are based in or store data in the United States or other countries outside the UK. Where your personal data is transferred outside the UK, we make sure it's protected by an appropriate safeguard recognised under UK data protection law — such as the UK's adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Standard Contractual Clauses. We keep your personal data only as long as we need it:
Account data — for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (or ask us to), we remove your personal account data within around 30 days.
Financial and transaction records — we may keep limited records for up to 6 years to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations, even after your account is closed.
Marketing preferences — we keep a record of your opt-outs so we can respect them.
When we no longer need your data, we securely delete or anonymise it.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

Erase your data ("right to be forgotten") in certain circumstances.

We'll only send you marketing emails where you've agreed, or where the law allows us to contact existing members about our own similar services. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by using it or emailing us.
Opting out of marketing won't stop essential service messages — such as account, billing, security, and important updates about the Services — which we need to send you while you hold an account.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption of data in transit and access controls. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, so we can't promise absolute security, but we take it seriously and will notify you and the ICO of a personal data breach where the law requires. Please help by keeping your password confidential and choosing a strong one.
MK9Plus is intended for adults and is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 to create an account. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We'll post any changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If the changes are significant, we'll let you know by email where appropriate.
